Poverty, hunger, and homelessness are nothing new. Jesus said himself the poor will always be around.
This is personal for me because there was a time when all I could afford was to pay rent and utilities and get gas so I could go to work and school. There were only a few dollars left for food. Even though I tried to make those few dollars stretch it was not enough to keep me from blacking out due to hunger.
We’re building a well in Chicago for people from all walks of life to come as they are, draw fresh living water and experience the richness of Christ’s love, mercy, and healing.
